Global Distribution

One of your courses in the Executive Master of Industrial Distribution Program is Global Distribution. As a part of the course, you have the option to travel for one week to an international location and study global distribution issues. The MID faculty during the week lecture and arrange severl site visits to distributors and manufacturers in the international location. Students are responsible for all costs associated with the global distribution travel trip. However, some years the MID program is able to fund a portion of the trip through outside resources.

Previous global distribution trips have included Mexico, China, France and Germany. The Fall 2007 MID entering class will go to Bologna and Rome, Italy .

IDIS 655 Global Distribution Course Description
An advanced and in depth study of the solutions, problems, and issues involved in global industrial distribution on a small to large scale. An emphasis is placed on competitive global business strategies, cultural and exchange issues in distribution, distribution practices of other countries, global distribution networks, and transportation issues across the globe.
